Questions from Ross (Man V Adulthood);
If you had to pick an actor to play you in a film who would you pick?
Sigourney Weaver circa Alien era. I’ve been called Sigourney so many times in my life it only seems right!
I think it’s the hair more so than the attitude. She’s a strong and independent woman, while I seem to be the complete opposite.
Yep, it’s definitely the hair!
If you could do anything as a career what would you do?
Mental Health advocate and blogger. Is that even a thing? Failing that I would love to be an eating disorder therapist.
Is Pineapple allowed on Pizza?
Yes! Don’t shame the Pineapple!
When was the last time you cried?
Oh, Gods. I’ve cried so much lately. About 20 minutes ago? I cry all the time now, even at the smallest of things. That’s the nature of grief I suppose.
Would you rather have all your bills wiped for life, or a Million Pounds right now?
All my bills wiped for life. A million is good but it would run out, if all my bills were paid I could live comfortably for the remainder of my life without ever having to fork out a penny, only for groceries and coffee.
Not having to pay insurance, mortgage, the electric bill, rates, phone bill, etc would be a dream.
In the garden do you prefer Decking or Patio?
Patio – easier cleaned and less slippery when it rains, which it does a lot in Ireland.
In the nuclear wasteland do you think you’d survive and how long for?
I would suck. I would be able to cope with the isolation of it all but my anxiety would get me killed. I just know it. I’m the idiot at the start of every zombie movie who dies first.
Questions from Chloe (Cfrycentrestage)
1. How are you today?
I’m okay. I am just taking it one day at a time.
2. Where are you from?
Northern Ireland!
3. What inspired you to create your blog?
I was at the beginning stages of slot dana and was finding it very isolating. After feeling increasingly worse in the first week of Feb, and experiencing great guilt, I decided to make my private journals public in the form of a blog.
I have since written about not only my own experiences but also information that might help other people in similar circumstances.
4. What do you love most about blogging?
I love blogging about wellness, eating disorder recovery, mental health, and self-care.
5. What is your biggest aim for your blog?
I want to grow this blog to something I can be proud of. I want to make it engaging, entertaining, helpful and to hopefully grow my following along the way. Finally, if I can make a bit of money on the side, I wouldn’t be complaining.
6. So far which is your favorite post and why?
My favorite post so far is;
7. Who is your hero?
I have a few, and it changes depending, but at the moment it’s a draw between my parents for all that they do, and have done. They are holding it together despite awful circumstances on both sides of my family at the moment, and I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for me in the past.
8. If you discovered a time machine where would you go and why?
I would go back in time to see the dinosaurs. I would say that I would go back and stop things happening in my life, but no. That would be much too complicated and might cause a lot of changes (both good and bad) in the future.
Time travel gets complicated with all the dangers of the ‘butterfly effect‘ etc.
9. What’s your favourite book? What’s it about?
The Dark Light.
“When it was discovered that thirteen-year-old Tora has leprosy, she is sent from her family’s remote mountain farm to the leprosy hospital in the bustling port of Bergen. In early-nineteenth-century Norway, lepers are quarantined in this hospital and no longer considered among the living. But even as her body gradually fails her, Tora’s new life blossoms. She finds strength through helping her fellow patients, both young and old, and she decides to see for herself what the Bible says about leprosy. To do so, she must make friends with the young and angry Mistress Dybendal, the only person at the hospital who can teach her to read.”
It is not often that I read a book that touches me quite like The Dark Light did. I didn’t want to finish it on the bus because I felt I really needed to sit down in a comfortable spot and give myself the peace to finish one of the most amazing books I have ever read. This book questions God, religion, our treatment of others, life, death, etc.
In one word this book is just perfect.
10. Where is your dream holiday?
Finland! And it has been since I was a little girl!
11. And finally the most important question, cats or dogs?
Cats!

Questions form Kaci;
- Why did you start your blog?
See above; “I was at the beginning stages of slot dana and was finding it very isolating. After feeling increasingly worse in the first week of Feb, and experiencing great guilt, I decided to make my private journals public in the form of a blog.
I have since written about not only my own experiences but also information that might help other people in similar circumstances.”
- What is your favorite time of day and why?
Early morning or late at night. Quiet, no one is around to bother me and 80% of the world is still asleep.
- What is your favorite quality about yourself?
Good question! I don’t actually know off hand, but if I had to guess I would say it’s my unspoken ability to draw people to me. If anyone wants to talk or cry they somehow find me.
For example, my grandfather is terminally ill in bed at the moment. He hasn’t long left. My grandmother is so, so strong and I haven’t seen her cry with anyone; except me. She held my hand on that first trip back from the hospital, in the back of a full car, and whispered quietly to me that she had many, many regrets. She cried silently on my shoulder and I just held her.
The second time I’ve seen her cry in these horrible 4 weeks was this afternoon. I was helping her take clothes in from the line and she stopped, took my hand and said ‘ Chloe, this is so, so hard.’ Again, I held her, comforted her and went back inside. No one else, apparently, has seen her shed a tear.
- Who is your go-to person when you need help?
My best friend Alex!
- If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Why?
Cereal. Fruit and fiber. Why? Because it’s my strange comfort food.
- What do you do to relax?
Relax? What’s that? I play video games, read or watch Netflix!
- You have a billion dollars, what do you do with it?
I quit my job without any hesitation and just spend time writing, creating and being who I know I want to be.
- You can have one superpower, what is it and why?
The ability to take the pain away from others; Physical, mental and emotional.
- Which do you think you have a better chance of beating: 10 human size geese or 20 goose size UFC fighters?
This is literally the best question! I would get my ass kicked by both BUT for the sake of it, I would say the latter. Why? Because they are smaller and less scary (I hope!).
- Aliens visit Earth, you are tasked with choosing two people to represent us. Who do you pick and why?
Robert Downey Jr because he is the best and funniest thing since sliced toast. Benedict Cumberbatch because he’s well spoken, handsome in a non-obvious way and because it would just be funny to see two Sherlock’s in the one place creating, above all things, aliens!
- Tomorrow you wake up with the ability to learn and master any skill, what is it and why?
Yoga. So that I would be able to leave all this behind and teach.
